Welcome

This is the homepage of Mint Shows, an IT Security Engineer for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville AL. I really haven't had much time to work on this site, so here it sits, pretty empty and neglected.

For a quick overview of what I do, I am a programmer for the NASA Account Management System (NAMS). Our team develops workflows for NAMS using the Sun Identity Manager software using XPRESS and JAVA.

In addition to NAMS development, I am an avid Mac and Linux enthusiast. I do most of my development on a Mac Pro, and when on the road, have a MacBook Pro to keep connected and work outside the office. This website currently runs on an Ubuntu server that hasn't gotten a lot of love lately, but gets the job done. I use it to host a local MySQL and Apache server for the few times a year I have a need to do some web development.

My wife Ashley and I have a son who keeps us on our toes 24/7. Though he can be a handful, knowing he'll be home to greet me, keeps me motivated during those looong days at work.
